Program Profile

The program aims to train graduates to work in public and private sector foreign trade companies, customs offices, and departments of marketing, foreign trade, import, and export. It also encourages entrepreneurship. It seeks to cultivate individuals with critical thinking skills, strong communication, and adherence to ethical values. Students are expected to:
- Acquire foundational and technical knowledge
- Use scientific background for problem-solving
- Develop communication, collaboration, inquiry, and responsibility skills
- Engage in lifelong personal and professional development

Learning Environment

Education is conducted primarily in-person. Distance education is partially implemented due to sufficient technological infrastructure. Practical training is also provided through university-affiliated research centers and similar units.

Assessment and Evaluation Methods

Assessment types and their contribution to course grades are determined by Çağ University’s Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations and Senate decisions. Various methods such as assignments, projects, practices, midterms, and final exams are used. Letter and/or numeric grading systems evaluate student success.

Quality Assurance

- The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is responsible for regulating and supervising education and related activities.
- Annual 'University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports' and 'Foundation Higher Education Institutions Reports' are published by YÖK.
- Program quality is ensured through standards set by YÖK and monitored by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).
Curricula and learning outcomes are approved by Çağ University Senate.
Learning outcomes are assessed based on university regulations aligned with YÖK principles.
Graduates receive diplomas upon successful completion of academic requirements.
Institutional self-evaluation reports and external feedback are submitted and shared publicly.

Admission Requirements

Placement through the national university entrance exam (ÖSYM) for Çağ University Foreign Trade Program.

Graduation Requirements

Students must pass all courses with at least a DD grade and achieve a GPA of 2.00/4.00, as per university regulations.

Progression Opportunities

Graduates may apply to bachelor's programs via the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by ÖSYM.
