Theoretical & Factual

* Has basic knowledge in the field based on the qualifications acquired at the secondary education level.

  1. Has theoretical and practical basic knowledge related to the Child Development program.

  2. Uses basic and current technical knowledge related to Child Development.

  3. Can develop solution suggestions for problems that may arise using Child Development techniques, share these suggestions with the parties involved, and, when necessary, form a team and take responsibility for this purpose.

  4. Learns to learn by developing skills to access, select, understand, interpret, and use information related to Child Development, and can apply it throughout life.

  5. Applies appropriate teaching strategies, methods, activities, and techniques by considering children's developmental characteristics and individual differences.

  6. Prepares educational materials that support the developmental areas (physical, cognitive, language, social-emotional, sensory development) of children in preschool and special education institutions and organizes educational environments.

  7. Has basic theoretical knowledge related to the fields of mathematics and social sciences (history, Turkish).

  8. Reflects the philosophy, general characteristics of programs related to the profession, and the requirements of each component of the program in classroom management and practices.

  9. Develops research methods, exploration, and the ability to produce alternative solutions.

  10. Knows the characteristics of children with special needs and plans and implements the educational process for these children.
