Mission:
In response to the existing and emerging social issues within changing and evolving conditions, the aim is to enhance the welfare of individuals, groups, and communities through interventions at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. This will be achieved by contributing to the development of social policies that are framed within the knowledge, skills, and values of social work, and by engaging in practical activities aimed at implementation. Additionally, the program seeks to train individuals who possess knowledge in social work theory, professional interviewing, and reporting, are well-versed in social work ethics and legislation, and have a high awareness of social issues. These individuals will be capable of providing solutions grounded in the principles of social justice and human rights, in accordance with the knowledge, skills, and values of social work, while conducting holistic analyses of social problems.
Vision:
To train qualified students with sufficient knowledge and skills to transition into undergraduate Social Work programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), by providing both theoretical and practical education at the associate degree level in Social Work. Furthermore, the program aims to be one of the most preferred among associate degree Social Work programs, consistently ranking high in the number of students progressing to undergraduate studies through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
