KNOWLEDGE

 Theoretical & Factual

1. Students have basic theoretical and applied knowledge, supported by textbooks, practical tools, and other resources, containing current information in the field of occupational health and safety.

2. Students are aware of the importance of ethical principles and ethical behavior in occupational health and safety practices and their significance in the workplace and for individuals.

PO 1: Students will be able to recognize the basic theoretical and practical knowledge related to occupational health and safety, such as law, risk assessment, emergency management, statistics, and legislation.

PO 2: Students will be able to carry out recording and reporting activities with specific knowledge for various sectors.

PO 3: Students will be able to define occupational health and safety services with medical, technical, and regulatory aspects, and will have the knowledge and skills to use basic information and communication technologies required by the profession.

PO 4: Students will gain the skills to generate solutions when encountering unforeseen situations in professional practices, take responsibility in team projects, or work independently.

PO 5: Students will be able to provide necessary information to their colleagues and those they are training, both verbally and in writing.

PO 6: Students will be able to organize job planning, occupational health and safety training, and the organizational process.

PO 7: Students will be able to adhere to and act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values and criteria during the stages of obtaining, using, applying, and disseminating data related to occupational health and safety.

Cognitive and Applied

1. Students have acquired the skills to apply the basic theoretical and practical knowledge they have gained in their field to a higher level of education in the same field or to a similar field at the same level.

 

2.Students have the ability to interpret and evaluate data, define problems, analyze them, and develop evidence-based solutions using the basic knowledge and skills they have acquired in their field.

Ability to Work Independently and Take Responsibility

1. Students have the competence to independently conduct a basic-level study related to their field.

2. Students are able to take responsibility as a team member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in field-related applications.

3. Students are able to conduct activities aimed at the development of employees under their responsibility within the framework of a project.

Communication and Social Competence

1. Students will be able to share their thoughts and proposed solutions to problems related to their field with both experts and non-experts.

2. Students will be able to follow information in their field and communicate with colleagues using at least a European Language Portfolio General Level in a foreign language.

3. Students will have the competence to use computer software and information and communication technologies required by their field, at least at the basic level of the European Computer Driving Licence.
