Following Innovations in the Field: In the doctoral program, students are enabled to follow the innovations in the field. For this reason, in addition to classical research methods, the Research Methods in Complex Systems course, where the newest methods are introduced, is given in the second semester. In this course, students not only learn new applications but also conduct research using at least two of them and turn them into articles.

Relationships Between Courses: Students are enabled to establish relationships between the subjects and practices they see in different courses. For example, while they are conducting research on a topic of their interest in the Research Methods in Complex Systems course, they work on the literature review on the same topic in the Psychology of Language Learning course. In this way, every student has the opportunity to study the topic they want to study theoretically in depth in one course and conduct research on it in another course.
