The Institute of Social Sciences of Çağ University was founded in 1997 to educate and develop prospective leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs in private and public business organizations. Specific Admission Requirements |
Students who have completed masters degree studies in other domestic or international universities may apply for admission according to Regulations of Council of Higher Education and Çağ University. The students must show the English exam grade, which is at least 55 of 100 from the official exams organized by Higher Education. The students will also be interviewed by a committee of the university for qualification. Those students who are eligible for the program but lack in fundamental courses in the field of management should take complementary courses before they enter the doctorate program. The total duration of this preparation period will not exceed two semesters. Which courses must be taken depend on the transcripts of the student and the decision of the interview committee. Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal And İnformal) |
Students who have studied at other Universities may transfer Çağ University Programmes. Exemption is given for any other courses which have already been taken from other universities with passing grades and same content. |

A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment And Grading |
The examination regulations are specified for each course. However, generally, there is 1 Midterm Exam, 1 Final Exam and term paper (or project) for each course and a thesis. See the exam regulations, assessment and grading of each course in the Course Structure Diagram for details. |
Graduation Requirements |
The graduation requirements for the Program are as the same as the general qualification requirements and regulations of Çağ University. There is no additional requirement to secure the Doctorate Degree provided that the students have passed all the courses in the curriculum with at least a CC grade, had a cumulative gross point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.00. |

This course is aimed at students who are aiming to be successful in business life by increasing their understanding and attitudes and behaviors of working people. For this purpose, practical and theoretical knowledge developed in the field of human behavior and management is examined. The student's analytical and problem solving skills are increased by concentrating on personality, personality problems, attitudes, perception and attitudes, motivation, group behavior and team building, leadership and leadership intelligence, communication and organizational change and similar issues.

The course focuses on basic macroeconomic problems and discusses the ways to solve these problems. Students macroeconomics, national income, inflation, unemployment, economic growth, sources of growth, national accounts, consumption, savings and total expenditure, balance of payments, to inform about Turkey's economy and the current macro-economic problems.
This course focuses on how companies prepare financial statements. In the same way as professional accountants, students are also required to apply the accounting rules and principles required to obtain the financial statements. After the financial statements are prepared, the students are generally directed to make evaluations. This course aims to teach students the recording, classification and summarization of important commercial and financial transactions in the accounting process.

Candidates and thesis advisors who prepare master's, doctorate and proficiency thesis in the departments of the Social Sciences Institute of Çağ University should act in accordance with the rules in this guide for the defense prepared theses. The guidelines of the American Psychological Association [APA 6] (2010) and the thesis writing rules of the Institute of Social Sciences of Çağ University were used in the preparation of this guide. Abstract, foreword, table of contents, list of tables, list of figures, abbreviations and list of appendices can be found in the Appendix at the end of this manual.
The Field Study course is designed to enable students to understand areas of interest, improve their knowledge, and write a doctoral dissertation. Students will be able to search the related literature in coordination with their advisors and learn how to conduct research and improve writing skills.
