About Our Training Programs

Our Library carries out planned training programs throughout the year in order to support academic research processes, improve information literacy, and ensure the effective use of electronic resources.

Our trainings are carried out under two main headings: in-house and external activities.

In-house trainings are planned according to the needs of our academic staff, students, and administrative personnel, and cover topics such as literature review techniques, citation and impact analysis tools, open access publishing processes, database usage, and academic writing support. These trainings are delivered in the form of online webinars, face-to-face sessions, and in-service training.

External trainings include participation in webinars, workshops, and congresses organized by national and international database providers, publishing organizations, and professional platforms. Through this participation, the professional development of our library staff is supported, and the up-to-date knowledge and practices gained are transferred to our institution.

Training content is continuously updated in line with user feedback, needs analyses, and current developments in academic publishing. Our Library aims to be an academic stakeholder that provides active support at every stage of the research process, beyond simply being a unit that provides access to information resources.
