The Book Café, brought to life in our library, is a cultural and artistic meeting point open to all our students with its warm atmosphere, thematic events, and sustainability approach.

The Book Café aims to:

At the Book Café, there are:
🎤 MONTHLY EVENTS
1️⃣ “A Cup of Conversation” Series
Each month, an academic, writer, or alumnus is hosted for an intimate conversation on books, literature, and life.
Broadcast: Short programs may be recorded in collaboration with Nil RTV.
2️⃣ Reading Hours
Silent reading activities focused on concentration, organized at specific days and times.
Purpose: To develop individual reading culture within a community.
3️⃣ Coffee & Book Pairing Week
Within the scope of a one-week event held each month, book genres are paired with coffee types.
Students are encouraged to share on social media; small surprise rewards are given for the most creative pairing.
4️⃣ Mini Exhibitions
Students’ photographs, drawings, designs, or their own book cover works are exhibited with monthly themes.
Example themes: Nature – City – Dreams – Time
5️⃣ Book Café Music Days
Only acoustic, short live performances or poetry readings.
Purpose: To increase cultural interaction without disturbing library study areas.
6️⃣ Sustainable Reading Table
Each month, a special table arrangement featuring books on environment, climate, and nature is organized.
7️⃣ Book Café Donation Corner
“Let those who want to share leave a book, let those who want to read take one.”
A completely voluntary, sustainable book-sharing area.
8️⃣ “I Read, Now I Watch” – Book Adaptation Film Days
Films adapted from selected books are watched together on a weekly or monthly basis.
📅 Monthly Book Analysis Program
Each month, book analysis sessions are conducted under the moderation of a faculty-appointed moderator.
These events are broadcast in collaboration with Nil RTV.
