Why ÇAĞ?
Çağ University was established in 1997 by the Bayboğan Education Foundation and has over 35 years of experience in education, ranging from kindergarten to primary education, college, and university levels. It is the first Foundation University founded in Turkey after Ankara and Istanbul that meets international standards. Our campus, located on 500,000 m² of green space, is situated between the port city of Mersin and the regional Roman capital Adana. It is 20 km from Adana, 35 km from Mersin, and 15 km from Tarsus.
The region where our campus thrives is famous for its agricultural and industrial potential, as well as its ancient civilizations and rich cultural heritage. To the north, the Taurus Mountains lie 10 km away, to the south is the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southwest are the Karabucak forests. In just 30 minutes, one can descend from the peaks of the Taurus Mountains down to the warm, blue Mediterranean. The winters in our region are mild, and the summers are hot.
Within Çağ University, there is the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which includes departments such as International Business Management, International Finance and Banking, International Relations, and International Trade and Logistics; the Faculty of Law; the Faculty of Arts and Sciences with departments of English Translation and Interpretation, Psychology, Turkish Language and Literature; and the Vocational School offering programs such as Applied English Translation, Foreign Trade, Court Office Services, Banking and Insurance, Child Development, Occupational Health and Safety, Social Services, Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies. Additionally, there is the Graduate School of Social Sciences with Master’s programs in Business Administration (MBA), Public Law, Private Law, Psychology, Turkish Language and Literature, English Language Education, Healthcare Management, International Trade and Marketing, International Relations and Globalization, as well as Doctorate programs in Business Administration and English Language Education. The university also has a School of Foreign Languages.
Graduates from Çağ University, where the medium of instruction is English, achieve success by utilizing their foreign language and academic skills in international exams. Based on student demand, a second foreign language is taught from among many world languages, and advanced computer training is provided in laboratories equipped with the latest technology. Classes are held in small groups in modern classrooms, mostly by local and foreign faculty members educated abroad, who deliver courses with a contemporary and global perspective aligned with the demands of the age.
