• What are your fees?

• Is there a discount for upfront payments?
We do not have a discount for upfront payments.

• Do you have discounts for public employees (police, teachers, etc.)?
We do not have discounts for public employees.

What is the scholarship status? What are the conditions for scholarship termination?
The scholarship provided to students placed in scholarship programs only covers the tuition fee. Expenses such as meals, accommodation, books, etc. are not covered by the scholarship.
Our university offers non-refundable and uninterrupted scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are granted to students placed by ÖSYM in scholarship quotas specified in the ÖSYM guide after the university entrance exam each year. The scholarship duration is Preparatory + 4 years for faculties, and 2 years for Vocational Schools of Higher Education (except for the Applied English and Translation Department).
The scholarship is terminated if the legal education period ends or if the student receives a "Dismissal from University" disciplinary penalty according to the Disciplinary Regulation. Summer school is not covered by the scholarship.

• What are your summer school fees? How many courses can I take at most during summer school?
Summer school fees are calculated per credit each year according to the decision of our Board of Trustees. You can take up to 3 (three) courses.

• Does the university have dormitories?
Our university does not have dormitories. Our students stay in dormitories of the Credit and Dormitories Institution, private dormitories, or rental houses.

• What should we do for leave of absence? Do we have to pay fees?
A petition is submitted to the dean’s office. If the petition is accepted, the student who will freeze the year or semester pays half of the full tuition fee.

• Is the Preparatory School (English) mandatory?
Preparatory class is mandatory for departments with 30% or 100% English education. If the student wants to take preparatory voluntarily, they pay the undergraduate program fee. Preparatory school is not mandatory for Turkish Language and Literature and Vocational Schools of Higher Education (except Applied English and Translation).

• Do you have distance education programs?
We do not have distance education programs.

• Is attendance mandatory?
Attendance is mandatory by law; at least 70% in departments and 90% in preparatory school.

• Is there internal transfer within the institution?
Internal transfer within the institution is carried out according to the Regulation on Transfer, Double Major, Minor, and Credit Transfer among Higher Education Institutions (Official Gazette: Date 24.04.2010, Number 27561).

• Do students coming via vertical transfer exam have attendance obligation?
Attendance obligation is at least 70% in faculties. Otherwise, there will be a loss of semester.

• If I choose with the vertical transfer exam, from which year do I start?
Preparatory + the year determined by the Faculty Administrative Board.

• What is the scholarship duration for students coming via vertical transfer exam?
It is the time elapsed from the year determined by the Preparatory + Faculty Administrative Board.

• Is pedagogical formation training provided?
Pedagogical formation training is provided to students studying English Translation and Interpretation, Turkish Language and Literature, and Psychology departments.

• How are course exemptions handled?
Students’ transcripts are reviewed by the faculty board. Courses with appropriate credits and content are exempted.
Students who score at least 70 out of 100 in the English preparatory exemption exam are admitted to the department. Also, students who have completed and passed preparatory education are exempted from English preparatory school.
