The main philosophy of the Social Responsibility Application and Research Center is based on the idea that the solutions to societal problems and the necessary changes and developments for an equal, peaceful, and livable world can only be achieved through the participation and support of young people who act with a sense of social responsibility and solidarity. In this framework, apart from its efforts to raise awareness among students at Çağ University, the Social Responsibility and Research Center also works to reach those in need in our region. In addition to carrying out joint projects with organizations such as the Red Crescent, the center supports students in need in the region through book collection campaigns. It also organizes seminars to prevent harmful addictions like smoking. Additionally, the center organizes food donation campaigns for our animal friends, holds scientific meetings on animal rights, and strives to make a positive impact. Furthermore, Çağ University students visit nursing homes and orphanages to spend time with the elderly and children.
As part of these efforts, the following events were held: a Red Crescent Blood Donation event with 70 participants, a Nursing Home Visit with 40 participants, a Mersin Cat Care Center Visit with 65 participants, a Cancer Awareness Seminar with 75 participants, a Smoke-Free Campus event with 40 participants, a Book Collection Event with 105 participants, a Seminar on the Effects of Drugs on Sports with 200 participants, a Seminar on Fighting Addictions with 240 participants, a "Meet My Best Friend" event with 45 participants, a Zoophobia Conference with 250 participants, and a Book Collection Campaign with 180 participants.
