Prominent business figure Demir Sabancı visited our University and met with the university administration. During the visit, the development of university–industry collaborations, potential project areas, and initiatives to support students' career development were thoroughly discussed. Our Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Gökhan Bayboğan and our Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Koç hosted the visit. The discussions particularly focused on applied education models, university–industry cooperation, and entrepreneurship-oriented projects. While exchanging ideas about Çağ University’s career-focused education approach and the prominent “branded courses” model, it was emphasized that this model provides an important structure that strengthens integration with the business world. Our Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Gökhan Bayboğan stated, “As Çağ University, we prioritize establishing strong connections with the business world. Such interactions make significant contributions to the development of projects that will directly support our students’ career journeys.” Our Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Koç, highlighting the importance of the visit, said, “As a university, we aim to equip our students not only with academic knowledge but also with hands-on experiences integrated with the industry. The visit of Mr. Demir Sabancı will pave the way for collaborations that will further strengthen this vision.” The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and evaluations regarding potential joint projects to be implemented in the future.
