Mersin Schools of Logistics Opened Their Doors to Education

Launched under the leadership of Çağ University, the Mersin Schools of Logistics has started its educational activities with the aim of providing qualified human resources to the logistics sector and preparing participants directly for the labor market through an employment-oriented education model. Within the scope of the training cooperation signed with the Republic of Türkiye State Railways (TCDD), participants will gain hands-on experience in real operational environments through field training at the Yenice Logistics Center and practical activities conducted with industry stakeholders. The coordination of Mersin Schools of Logistics is carried out by Associate Professor Dr. Esma Irmak. In the first week of the program, training sessions were delivered by Dr. Eda Kayhan, a faculty member of Çağ University, and Osen Akbalık, Overseas Sales Team Leader at Gezairi Transport. Çağ University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Koç also attended the training process, observed the sessions on site, met with participants, and emphasized the importance of the center’s practice-oriented and industry-integrated educational approach.
