As part of the “Major Districts Trust and Transformation Project” carried out by the Ministry of Interior and coordinated by the Tarsus District Governorship, a significant educational collaboration has been initiated. A protocol for the “Open University” was signed and implemented between the Tarsus District Governorship, Tarsus Municipality, and Çağ University.

Aiming to strengthen social solidarity and enhance equal opportunities in education, the protocol targets the support of the social, cultural, and academic development of individuals aged 40 and above residing within the boundaries of Tarsus. Through the Çağ University Open University Program, participants will be offered training in various fields, and those who successfully complete the program will be awarded certificates.

This collaboration not only establishes a strong link between the university and local institutions but also lays the foundation for sustainable projects in the field of education. Following the signing ceremony, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Murat Koç, stated that they believe the protocol will provide significant contributions to the local community.
