“Great Success from Çağ University in the Global Green Campus Ranking”
Çağ University has risen to 612th place in the UI GreenMetric 2025 Ranking.
The 2025 results of the UI GreenMetric Green Campus University Rankings, announced in their 15th year, cover 1,745 universities from 105 countries worldwide. As a global ranking dedicated to evaluating the sustainability performance of universities, the GreenMetric results mark a significant achievement for Çağ University this year.
Having been ranked 702nd in 2024, our university achieved a remarkable success in 2025 by rising to 612th place, gaining an impressive 90-position increase thanks to its comprehensive sustainability efforts and strong progress in environmental performance. In addition, among 142 universities evaluated in Türkiye, our university ranked 63rd, demonstrating a significant achievement at the national level as well.
This rise indicates that the following holistic efforts have been recognized internationally:

improvement of campus infrastructure,

energy efficiency and renewable energy applications,

waste management and water conservation projects,

expansion of sustainability-focused courses and research,

widespread environmental awareness activities that strengthen student and staff engagement.
Çağ University’s upward momentum in this field is the result of strategic initiatives carried out under the coordination of the Sustainability Office, as well as the dedicated contributions of academic and administrative units and the active participation of our students. Our university will continue with determination to strengthen the culture of sustainability across all components of its institutional structure and to rise even higher in national and international rankings in the coming years.
