Çağ University, TU Dublin and EUT+ Collaboration on Digital Badges

 

Çağ University continues to provide its students with internationally recognized digital competencies by adding two new categories to the digital badge program carried out in collaboration with TU Dublin and EUT+.

MERSİN – The VR LAB, operating under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Çağ University, continues to make a difference in the world of digital education. The digital badge program, implemented in partnership with TU Dublin and the European University of Technology (EUT+), has reached a total of five different categories with the addition of new titles.

Global Competencies Meet the Metaverse
Within the scope of the program, which certifies students’ modern world skills, the badges are grouped under the following categories:

Global Citizenship

Sustainability

Digital Literacy

Next-Gen Development

Virtual Identity

Applied Learning in a Virtual Campus
These digital badges have been integrated into the “Virtual Worlds” course offered in Çağ University’s Virtual Campus, as well as into Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) activities. The trainings are supported by 3D projects, teamwork, and applied simulations conducted on the popular metaverse platform Second Life.

International Collaboration and Future Skills
The program aims to enable students to analyze sustainable development goals, collaborate with international teams in virtual environments, and develop a responsible digital identity. This initiative, carried out in partnership with Çağ University, TU Dublin, and EUT+, stands out as one of Turkey’s leading academic projects in the field of metaverse-based learning.
