Turkology Application and Research Center (ÇAĞTAM)
The aims of the center are;
To provide accumulation aimed at creating an inventory of Turkey’s culture and arts,
To conduct original studies on the cultural and artistic accumulation of the last two centuries, described as the period in which Turkey gained a modern structure, and to protect our cultural and artistic values by functioning as an archive in harmony with the University’s documentation center in this field,
To plan, coordinate, and carry out research studies in the fields of Turkish literature, Turkish language, its dialects and accents, Turkish Republics and communities, Turkish history, Turkish art, and folk culture,
To monitor the development of our country in literature, culture, and arts from past to present, to sustain achievements in this area, and to provide researchers with a discussion environment that opens new avenues for the future.
Within the scope of these aims; the Photo Exhibition on Incorrect Words Used in Turkish with the participation of 300 people, the book reading event titled Reading is Development with 60 participants, the seminar titled I Am Here Dear Reader, Where Are You with 40 participants, the conference on Verb Conjugations in Turkish with 170 participants, and the conference on Turkology Studies in Kosovo with 220 participants were held.
