Center for Distance Education Research and Application

As Çağ University Distance Education Research and Application Center, our center carries out its activities with the aim of conducting research and educational practices related to distance learning in order to support academic processes. Within the framework of distance education activities, synchronization among academic units has been ensured, and both horizontal and vertical planning have been implemented.

Our fundamental approach to distance education studies is to:

  • Be student-centered,
  • Prioritize period-specific sensitivities,
  • Maintain quality, academic standards, and efficiency without compromise,
  • Promote transparent and accountable practices.

Within this scope:

Academic personnel have been appointed—and backups assigned—for the design of distance education processes. Furthermore, examinations have been conducted through online platforms with the support of the ÇUZEM infrastructure, incorporating practices such as digital applications, discussions, assignments, quizzes, research reports, and projects. Measures have been taken both digitally and physically to ensure transparency and accountability, to record all procedures, and to prevent students and academic staff from facing grievances or loss of rights.

Communication channels have been established to ensure that each faculty and school directorate informs their own academic personnel and students in line with the implementation principles and decisions taken.
