In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the University carries out initiatives aimed at promoting the efficient use of energy and water resources, improving waste and carbon management, raising environmental awareness, and fostering a culture of sustainability.

Hosting COP31 in Türkiye presents an important opportunity to strengthen the role of universities in climate action, enhance the connection between scientific knowledge and practice, and encourage more active youth participation in climate processes.

Çağ University views the COP31 process as an important platform for more closely aligning its existing sustainability initiatives with climate action, translating academic knowledge into societal impact, and strengthening national and international cooperation.

In this context, the University aims to contribute to the COP31 process and play an active role in building a sustainable future through education, research, youth engagement, institutional sustainability practices, and community engagement.
