Mission
To provide information about the conditions under which the Turkish Revolution emerged, its objectives and characteristics;
To carry out scientific activities with the aim of raising Turkish youth as individuals who are aware of their national, moral, and cultural values, and as citizens of the Republic of Turkey who know their duties and responsibilities towards their state;
To scientifically research, promote, and disseminate Atatürk’s thought, Turkish culture, and Turkish history, and to engage in activities that support education and training through publications.
Vision
To research and develop Atatürk’s principles and reforms from various perspectives;
To convey the results of these studies to students, university members, and society;
To organize various activities, panels, and conferences to raise awareness about our recent history;
To conduct studies on the dynamics related to Atatürk’s principles and reforms and the foundation process of the Republic of Turkey. In addition, to spread the Kemalist thought system—the founding philosophy of the Republic of Turkey—primarily to university youth and staff, and to all segments of society;
To ensure that students embrace our national, moral, and cultural values in line with Atatürk’s thought, principles, and reforms, in a manner that protects the constitutional order and ensures national unity and solidarity;
To understand and explain Atatürk’s ideas in the Turkish nation’s struggle for independence, the founding philosophy of the Republic of Turkey, recent Turkish history, and the world within the context of changing and developing international relations;
To instill historical consciousness by conveying the core values of Turkish history to the youth and to transmit historical knowledge by associating it with the strategic importance of today’s Turkey.
