Çağ University Visiting Fellowship – Fall 2026
The Department of International Relations at Çağ University (Turkey) is pleased to announce the launch of its Visiting Fellowship Program for the Fall 2026 term. This initiative aims to foster international academic exchange, enhance research collaboration, and provide our students with exposure to global perspectives in political science and related fields.
Fellowship Details
- Eligibility: Applicants must hold a PhD in International Relations or closely related disciplines (e.g., Political Science, International Political Economy, European Studies). The program encourages applications from scholars at all career stages.
- Age Limit: None.
- Nationality: Applicants must hold citizenship of an EU member state.
- Fellowship Period: Fall Semester 2026 (September 2026-January 2027). Candidates will stay for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months.
- Financial Support:
- Monthly stipend of €1,500.
- Return economy-class flight ticket to/from Mersin, Turkey.
- Host Institution: Çağ University, Mersin, Turkey.
Expectations
Visiting Fellows are expected to:
- Engage in research collaboration with Çağ University faculty.
- Deliver at least one public lecture and teach 2 hours weekly in their area of expertise.
- Contribute to the academic life of the department (e.g. guest lectures or joint publications).

Application Requirements

- Curriculum Vitae (including list of publications).
- Research Proposal (max. 1,500 words) outlining intended work during the fellowship.
- Statement of Purpose (max. 1 page) explaining motivation and expected contribution.

Notification of Results: Selected fellows will be informed by 15 March 2026.
