According to the Çağ University Applied Education Directive:
Students who have already completed their compulsory internships can also choose to take one of these courses voluntarily.
Our 3rd-year students in the faculty can complete their compulsory internships during the summer months.
The internship duration is determined by the University based on the nature of the program and must not be less than 20 working days or more than 30 working days. A duration initially set as 20 working days can be extended up to 30 working days only once
3rd-year students who will complete their internship in the private sector or in public institutions and organizations, and who have received an approval (suitability confirmation) from the institution, must download and fill out the COMPULSORY INTERNSHIP FORM completely and legibly.
1st and 2nd-year students must download and fill out the VOLUNTARY INTERNSHIP FORM completely and legibly.
Internships are primarily expected to be conducted during semester or summer break months. However, in cases where the internships listed below do not coincide with these periods, educational activities will continue alongside the internship, and students are not allowed to do their internship on days when they have classes or exams:a) If the nature of the program or the conditions of the workplace are not suitable, the internship may be conducted outside these periods, provided that it does not interfere with the student's education. b) Internships may also be carried out during the academic term, summer school, or general exam periods, as long as they are conducted for the same duration and at least three days per week.
Students who, for any reason, are unable or do not wish to complete their compulsory internship are required to take one of the alternative elective courses, such as Entrepreneurship or Graduation Project, offered in the relevant semesters of the 4th year. Students who have already completed their compulsory internship may also choose to take one of these courses on a voluntary basis.
The Internship Form, signed by both the student and the institution, must be submitted by the student to their departmental internship advisor and to the Faculty Secretariat via the email address iibf@cag.edu.tr, or it can be sent to Ahu Kocahan from the University Accounting Department at ahukocahan@cag.edu.tr.
NOTE: For students who will do their internship, the internship insurance registration (SGK) is processed at the earliest within 10 DAYS. Otherwise, the SGK system does not allow the registration process.
After the completed Internship Form is approved by the internship place, it must be scanned and sent as a PDF file or photo to the email addresses below at least 10 days before the internship start date:
iibf@cag.edu.tr & haticekasar@cag.edu.tr
The Internship Diary must be filled out completely.
During the internship period, a copy of the internship diary (Internship File) linked above should be made in Word format and signed with a wet signature by the authorized person at the institution. If necessary, the internship diary can be photocopied and used.
The internship diary must be submitted to your DEPARTMENT INTERNSHIP ADVISOR by the date determined by them during the course period after the academic term has started.
