The 2nd Trainer Training Program based on Student-Centered Teaching and Learning Approaches has been completed.

The program, opened with our Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Koç’s “Çağ University 2025-2026 Academic Year Student-Centered Education Vision Meeting” and organized by our Education and Teaching Coordination to raise awareness, was titled: “Trainer Training-II: Student-Centered Teaching and Learning Approaches: Designing a Syllabus Aligned with Outcomes, Methods, and Assessment.” It was completed in the Vocational School, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the School of Foreign Languages.

Importance of the Trainer Training Program in Quality Activities

Within the scope of quality assurance studies conducted at our university, the Trainer Training Program is implemented to support the continuous development of faculty members in pedagogy, assessment-evaluation, digital competencies, and student-centered teaching methods.

Through this program:

  • Compliance with quality standards in education and teaching processes is ensured,

  • Faculty members’ competencies in course design, measurement of learning outcomes, and use of modern teaching methods are enhanced,

  • The student-centered learning approach is promoted, contributing to student satisfaction and increased academic success,

  • The institutional quality culture is strengthened and the continuous improvement cycle (Plan–Do–Check–Act) is effectively supported.

In conclusion, the Trainer Training Program ensures the sustainability of the university’s education quality and directly contributes to institutional accreditation processes.
