A Tangible Outcome of Quality-Oriented Education: Çağ University’s Success on the International Stage

The quality assurance activities carried out at our university continue to produce tangible outcomes in line with the goals of student-centered education, practice-based learning, and internationalization. Within this framework, our students who represented the university in the United Nations–supported Global Sustainability Supply Chain Student Competition (GS3) achieved a significant success by winning third place in Europe with the sustainable logistics model they developed for Ethiopia.

This achievement is regarded as an effective result of structuring program outcomes, learning outcomes, and course contents around the principles of sustainability, social responsibility, and global awareness. The ability of our students to integrate theoretical knowledge with analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project development skills, and to produce competitive outputs on an international platform, clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of our education and training processes.

This success also serves as a strong indicator that the program monitoring and improvement mechanisms implemented within the quality assurance system, the practice-based learning approach, and the academic advising processes are progressing in the right direction. The participation of our students in projects aimed at generating social benefit on a global scale supports our university’s educational vision aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As Çağ University, in line with our approach that places a culture of quality at its core, we will continue to decisively encourage innovative and socially impactful initiatives that enhance our students’ visibility on national and international platforms. We congratulate our students and the academic advisors who contributed to this achievement and wish them continued and growing success.
