Our Faculty of Law members, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Selen Serder and Arş. Gör. Pelin Özçelik, together with Prof. Dr. Deniz Ayas (Mersin University, Faculty of Fisheries), conducted an interdisciplinary Scientific Research Project titled “Legal Measures for the Protection of Aquatic Life: The Case of Mersin Province”. Within this project, they authored the research article “Assessment of Marine Pollution and MARPOL Applications in Mersin Province with Legal Recommendations for Sustainable Fisheries Management”, which has been peer-reviewed and published in the journal Tethys Environmental Science (International Open Access Journal).
