Corridor of Turkish Writers” Exhibition Opened to Visitors in the Faculty Corridors

A exhibition titled “Corridor of Turkish Writers” was organized by the Faculty of Science and Letters Turkish Language and Literature Program and the Literature Club, under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Elmas Şahin, as part of the 102nd anniversary celebrations of our Republic.

The exhibition, which opened on October 30, 2025, will welcome visitors in the faculty corridors for one week. It introduces the lives, works, and literary heritage of authors who contributed to Turkish literature during Atatürk’s era through projects prepared by the students.

With the interest of academic staff and students, the event provided students the opportunity to develop their research and presentation skills while evaluating literary texts within their historical and cultural contexts. The exhibition aimed to strengthen participants’ aesthetic expression, teamwork, and creativity, as well as to raise awareness of the values of Republican-era literature and cultural heritage.

The “Corridor of Turkish Writers” exhibition, which will adorn the Faculty of Science and Letters corridors for a week, stood out as an important event reflecting the enthusiasm of the Republic and the unifying power of literature within the faculty.
