Announcement for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School
Dear Students,
The Preparatory Unit of the School of Foreign Languages will offer an intensive make-up program during the summer school for students who need to retake courses in the 2024-2025 academic year. This announcement applies to all students who need to attend summer school, except those who have frozen their registration. The courses will be conducted fully face-to-face on our university campus. Classes will begin on June 16, 2025 and end on July 31, 2025.
The summer school fee is 35,995 TRY for departments in the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science and Letters, and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. For the Vocational School Applied English Translation department, the fee is 25,995 TRY.
IMPORTANT: The summer school fee must be paid to one of our university’s bank accounts with the student’s full name and Turkish ID number written in the payment description.
Students who wish to register for summer school must fill out the attached form and submit it with a wet-signed payment receipt by hand to the Foreign Languages School secretary between June 10 and June 12, 2025.

The summer school program will run for 7 weeks with 20 hours of weekly classes, totaling 140 hours. Students must attend at least 80% of the total class hours. Classes start at 10:00 AM and will be held on Tuesday (7 hours), Wednesday (7 hours), and Thursday (6 hours). The course book used will be Language Hub B1.
