As part of the Social Responsibility Projects of Çağ University Vocational School, the “Informed Women, Healthy Life: Health Literacy Workshop for Women” was conducted by Lecturer Şeyda Çavmak in collaboration with the Tarsus Municipality Women’s Life Support and Solidarity Center.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the skills of women living in Tarsus in accessing, understanding, and using health information correctly. Topics covered included ways to reach accurate health information, safe use of digital health applications, distinguishing false and misleading health information, preventive health services, and proper procedures for applying within the health system.

Under the motto “Informed Women, Strong Society,” the workshop emphasized the importance of making informed health decisions in daily life. The role of health literacy in improving quality of life at both individual and societal levels was conveyed through examples and interactive applications.
