Students of Çağ College Middle School came together for an inspiring seminar themed “Sustainability and the Environment.” The event provided students with comprehensive insights into sustainable living practices and the development of environmental responsibility.
The seminar was conducted with the contributions of Prof. Dr. Eda Yaşa Özeltürkay, AR-GE Coordinator, and Dr. Senem Zaimoğlu, Sustainability Office Coordinator. Within the scope of the program, key issues such as the significance of sustainable living, the responsible use of natural resources, and the roles individuals can assume in alignment with the Global Goals were thoroughly addressed.
Throughout the event, students explored the essential characteristics of environmentally responsible individuals and developed greater awareness of how daily lifestyle choices impact the natural environment. The seminar, structured in an interactive format, drew attention through the students’ high level of engagement and active participation.
At the conclusion of the program, emphasis was placed on the notion that individual responsibility for a more livable world begins today. The critical role of education in fostering environmental awareness and contributing to the construction of a sustainable future was strongly highlighted.
