11th Urban Studies Congress: Climate-Resilient Cities
The 11th Urban Studies Congress will be held in Ankara on 12-14 October 2026, in collaboration with the Urban Studies Institute, the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Türkiye (TEPAV), and TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
Under the main theme of “Climate-Resilient Cities,” the congress will address urbanization, disaster management, and sustainability from an interdisciplinary perspective. Taking place ahead of Türkiye’s COP31 process, the event aims to contribute to academic knowledge production and promote the development of sustainable and climate-resilient cities. The congress will be held in a hybrid format, both in person and online.
