7 May 2021- Presentation on the European Union for Translation and Interpreting Students

On 7 May 2021, Dr. Sevgi BALKAN ŞAHİN, Director of the EU Application and Research Center, delivered a presentation to students of the Translation and Interpreting Department at Bilkent University. The session covered the structure and institutions of the European Union, as well as current issues in Turkey-EU relations, while addressing students’ questions.

The presentation offered participants an opportunity to better understand the functioning of the EU and Turkey’s role in the accession process. Active student engagement contributed to an interactive and productive learning environment, helping participants gain a comprehensive perspective on the European Union.
