28 April 2021- Presentation on the European Union Delivered to Translation and Interpreting Students by the EU Center Director

On 28 April 2021, Dr. Sevgi BALKAN ŞAHİN, Director of the EU Application and Research Center, delivered a presentation on the European Union to students of the Translation and Interpreting Department at Bilkent University. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the EU’s structure, functioning, and the latest developments in Turkey-EU relations.

During the session, students had the opportunity to gain detailed insights into the workings of EU institutions, relations with member states, and Turkey’s ongoing engagement with the EU. Participants actively engaged in the Q&A session, posing their questions directly to the expert. This activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the European Union and foster a deeper awareness of Turkey-EU relations.
