2025–2026 ERASMUS ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT
WRITTEN EXAM
The Erasmus English Proficiency Written Exam will be held face-to-face at the
School of Foreign Languages on our university campus on Wednesday, March 11,
2026, at 10:30.
 The exam duration is 120 minutes (10:30–12:30).
 During the exam, you must have your student ID card with a photo or your
Turkish ID card with you.
Written Exam Sections
A. Listening – 10 points
B. Use of English – 30 points
C. Reading Comprehension – 15 points
D. Writing – 20 points
Note: The written exam consists of a total of 55 multiple-choice questions and is divided
into four sections: Listening, Use of English, Reading, and Writing.
The Listening section includes 10 questions and each question is worth 1 point.
The Use of English section includes 30 questions and each question is worth 1 point.
The Reading section includes 5 reading passages with a total of 15 questions and each
question is worth 1 point.
The Writing section is evaluated out of 20 points.
The total exam duration is 2 hours (120 minutes).
 
SPEAKING EXAM
 The Erasmus English Proficiency Speaking Exam will be held face-to-face at the
School of Foreign Languages on Friday, March 13, 2026 and will start at 10:30.
Candidates who score 35 points or above in the written exam will be eligible to
take the speaking exam.
 The list of candidates eligible for the speaking exam will be announced on
Thursday, March 12, 2026 on the announcements section of the main page at
www.cag.edu.tr.
 During the exam, you must have your student ID card with a photo or your
Turkish ID card with you.
 There will be no make-up exam for the speaking exam.
ASSESSMENT
The written exam consists of 55 questions and will be evaluated out of 75 points.
The- final Erasmus English Proficiency Exam score will be calculated by adding the 25 point speaking exam score to the written exam score.
