ERASMUS ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT
WRITTEN EXAM
- The Erasmus English Proficiency Written Exam will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the School of Foreign Languages on our university campus.
- The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (10:30–12:30).
- Students must bring a photo ID card (student ID or Turkish ID card) to the exam.
- There will be no make-up exam for the written test.
Written Exam Sections
A. Listening – 10 points
B. Use of English – 30 points
C. Reading Comprehension – 15 points
D. Writing – 20 points
Note:
The written exam consists of 55 multiple-choice questions and includes four sections: Listening, Use of English, Reading, and Writing.
- The Listening section includes 10 questions (1 point each).
- The Use of English section includes 30 questions (1 point each).
- The Reading section includes 5 reading passages and a total of 15 questions (1 point each).
- The Writing section will be evaluated out of 20 points.
SPEAKING EXAM
- The Erasmus English Proficiency Speaking Exam will be held face-to-face on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the School of Foreign Languages.
- Only candidates who score 35 points or above in the written exam will be eligible to take the speaking exam.
- The list of eligible candidates will be announced on Thursday, May 7, 2026, on the homepage of Çağ University (www.cag.edu.tr).
- Students must bring a photo ID card (student ID or Turkish ID card) to the exam.
- There will be no make-up exam for the speaking test.
ASSESSMENT
- The written exam consists of 55 questions and is evaluated out of 75 points.
- The 25-point speaking exam will then be added to calculate the final Erasmus English Proficiency Exam score.
